If you find your solar irrigation controller flashing the time. This is a common issue with a simple fix; just follow the steps below:
1. Check Power & Charge
- Place the controller in direct, full sunlight for 8-12 hours to fully charge the built-in battery. Low power is the #1 cause of setting resets.
- If you’re in a prolonged cloudy period, you can charge it via the USB port (if your model has one) for 4 hours to top it up.
2. Reset & Reprogram the Timer
- Press and hold the ESC button for 5 seconds to perform a full factory reset.
- Re-enter the current time, then re-program your A/B zone watering schedules (duration, frequency, start time) as needed.
- Press OK to save all settings, and the flashing will stop immediately.
3. Verify Water Pressure & Connections
- Ensure your water pressure is within the normal range (0.1-0.8 MPa). Excessively high or low pressure can cause the controller to glitch.
